Chambers Ireland Local Government Excellence Awards

More local authorities short-listed for awards for their use of CiviQ’s Online Consultation Portal. Fingal County Council and Kilkenny County Council are both shortlisted in the Chamber’s Ireland Local Government Awards, category ‘Local Authority Innovation’. Kilkenny is shortlisted for their use of the portal in opening all planning consultations, the first Council in Ireland to do so.

The shortlisting of both Council in the same category shows that the portal is flexible to support a range of innovative citizen engagement projects and campaigns. Each Council can experiment and innovate with CiviQ in different ways to develop and new ways for more effective engagement of citizens in the public sphere. We are currently working with local authorities to develop deliberative spaces in the consultation and examine public opinion using Q-methodology. If you would like to join to grow this innovation ecosystem get in touch with CiviQ today.
